Hi my name is Marie
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005,had mastectomy, lymph nodes removed, chemo and radiotherapy
After 10 years was treated as still in remission but in 2017, cancer returned and spread to my other breast and into nodes in my neck
Started Palbocibclib and Letrozole but after 3 hospital admissions in 6 months was taken off Palbociclib and so far so good ,have regular CT scans every 3 or 4 months
Eiramm99, that’s great to hear! I too was first diagnosed in 2005, had mastectomy and chemo. Hormone therapy for 10 years, but then told that I didn’t need any more. I had some abdominal pain in February and have been sent to different departments. Finally diagnosed with secondary ba with mets in chest wall, liver and bone. Starting chemo tomorrow to reduce tumours, hoping to go on to the same regime as you had. Encouraging to know that it can work! Thanks for your post
