Hi everyone
I am 37 and was diagnosed with Sbc at the beginning of March 2021. I have mets in my spine, ribs, liver and lungs.
I have started tamoxifen and now on cycle 2 of ribociclib. To date I have had minimal side effects from these. This week I have also had the zoladex injection and also due to start Denosaumaub later today which I believe is a bone strengthener.
In the next few weeks il start letrozole but not had a date for that yet.
I'm sure I'm the same as everyone on here this diagnosis has turned my life upside down. I have two girls 5 and 7 and just want to be around as long as possible.
Would love to chat with anyone as I find these forums really helpful for support and additional info and of course would like to offer my support and experience to others to.
Thanks
Just wanted to say Daisy 1257, good luck with the scan tomorrow. I've got everything crossed for you that the treatment is working and the results are what you want to hear. x
Hi Jude3
Thank you for your message. I've just had the scan so all done. I get the results on the 18th May so I will let you know how I get on. Feeling so much better in myself and no pain since starting treatment I really hope that is a good sign. I'm keeping everything crossed. I hope you are keeping well.
Daisy 1257 keeping everything crossed for you x
Glad to hear you are feeling better on the treatment and scan went well. Fingers crossed for you on the 18th that you get good news .

Thanks everyone. I'm going to be on pins for 10 days now but we have to think positive dont we. X
Absolutely. I see my oncologist on Thursday to get my treatment plan.
Hi
That's great. Im sure you will start to feel better once you have a plan in place, I certainly did. X
Hi Daisy, It's going to be a long ten days for you, but I guess we will all have to get used to the waiting! I've had all the scans, biopsies and blood test etc. Had fluid drained off my lung. Respiratory team have confirmed that the lung is secondary breast cancer, so now waiting to see the oncologist next week for treatment plan. More waiting! x
