Just sharing. Hi recently diagnosed in August with primary stage 2 breast cancer involving lymph node. Had operation to remove lump with clear margins. Was due to start chemo 3 weeks ago but LFT level was high so unable . Lots of tests followed. Ultrasound was clear and had regular bloods to see if levels were going down .saw liver specialist who thought it might be a hepatitis but thankfully levels were coming down and heading back to normal. Decision to either keep an eye or follow up with ct scan mri scan and biopsy to check for any damage or auto immune. Very scary but can’t fault treatment as all done in 3 weeks. Several follow ups and looking like Bloods were high due to stress of op etc as they were ok before op. Anyways what has shown up in all the scans that the breast cancer had suspicions to spreading through the lymph node and iv early signs of it in bone and liver. This obviously could still have been treated in my original treatment plan of 6 months chemo and 5 weeks radio. But it might not. So now I’m back on Friday to hear what treatment is going to be best to treat new findings. I should be grateful to have had this diagnosis really early but knowing it can’t be cured and just treated is very hard to manage this early on. I have an amazing close family and friends who are fantastic. Any positives to hear would be great. Thankyou
