Hello, looking for support with metastatic breast cancer spread to the brain.

  • Hi  . Sorry to hear your BC has spread. I'm not from this group so not much help, but noticed your post has slipped past without a reply. Just giving it a bump to lift it back to the top and hopefully someone with experience will pick it up. I hope all goes well for you. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.

  • Hi, following a  year of treatment for my initial diagnosis which  included chemo, bilateral mastectomy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy and  targeted therapy I  diagnosed with  metastasis to  my  lungs and brain lining  possibly not  the  same as yours?

the  metastatic diagnosis was in April 23, (initial diagnosis was  November 21)

I  have  been  on Enhertu since my 2nd diagnosis and I honestly count my  blessings every single day, I have full body CT  every 3/4 months and the Enhertu  is  doing  a good job of  keeping everything in .

I  know we are all different and I don’t know when your diagnosis was  but I’m hoping I  can  offer you some positive thoughts.

I  lead  a very full, active  and  busy life.

sending positive vibes and virtual hugs xx

  • Hello

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis but great to hear the Enhertu is actually working. I have had my 2nd round last week and going for scans after my 3rd so just hoping it is working on my brain.

Thank you for replying and take care.xx

  • I really hope all goes well for you xx

  • Hi also seeking some general information support and advice with this diagnosis. I have had 5 radiotherapy treatments to the tumours in my brain almost 3 weeks ago. I am to continue on 3 weekly Phesgo as this is keeping the cancer the breast and lungs controlled for over 4 years. I have also been changed to Examestane from Letrozole to help reduce spread. Still extremely fatigued and sense of taste not returned as yet. Hopefully once the steroids finish next week I will feel a bit more like myself.
