Help - Need advice on Letrazole & Exemestane please. Abemaciclib & Fulvestrant no longer working.

Hi Lucifer I have been on Exemestane and it was a breeze compared to Fulvestrant and abemaciclib which I'm now on. 

I took one tablet a day and had no side effects at all, but everyone is different.

I’m on letrazole , seems fine 8 months excellent response both scans , no side effects so far and minimal wt gain , fee mood swings x

• Hi! I've been on letrozole for 2 years, it has stopped working for me, but I was fine with it overall. Hope you're the same   could o please ask you? As letrozole is no longer working for me (tumour double on size) I have been offered the 2 things that aren't working for you bit I am reluctant to do so. How were you with them? If I choose not to try them, I have been offered examestene, same as you xx

Hi, just come across your commi, I've just been offered the fulv/abem combination bit I'm really reluctant because of the side effects. Are you saying you suffered badly? My other option is the examtene, which is what I'm leaning towards. Thanks in advance & hope things are going well for you

Hi Liesel, We decided to go for a different option of Exemestane & radiotherapy. Been really bad with side effects of radiotherapy but so far Exemestane has been ok as long as I take it with food. I get really bad indigestion otherwise, but that could also be the radiotherapy side effects.

I was on Fulvestrant & Abemaciclib for about a year but they stopped working. Now on Exemestane. I didn’t have any side effects from them, just a bit of a sore bottom from the injections not bad just a bit annoying. Hope all goes well & take care. 

Than you for the info. Glad to hear you had no bad side effects. It's really chewing me up but I've got another couple of weeks to decide. Good to have feedback from someone who's experienced it. Thks again & good luck to you

Hi I was on exemestane after my treatment finished and found it caused a lot of pain for myself... I'm now on letrazole and have been for 3 years now and have no side affects 

Hi, thank you. My side effects of letrozole have been minimal , it's just stopped working unfortunately  what type of pain were you experiencing with exemastane if yo don't mind me asking? Thanks so much for your reply and lots of luck and health
