A thousand apologies to everybody who read my post about successful treatment with systemic chemo. I misspelt the name of the drugs which should have been VERZENIOS (not Vasnios) taken twice daily (orally) and Faslodex (mnthly injections).
Trying to keep the post brief I did not mention my breast cancer began in 2012 when a very small lump was surgically removed. Took Letrozole thereafter but the cancer returned in 2016, then treated with Proton Therapy, resulting in a further period of remission, then it returned in 2019 in a different sector of the liver which could not be treated with Proton as too close to a kidney. Systemic treatment commenced in November 2019 (with a brief pause end of January) so about six months taken resulting in scan in June showing disappearance of tumours, so in remission again.
Verzenios may have a different name in the U K (believe it could be fulvestrant) but anybody will now be able to google it since now spelt properly. Taking that with Faslodex seems to produce better results although I believe it can be prescribed singly.
So sorry to have spread confusion here and should have read the name from the packet! It is certainly worth making enquiries with doctors/oncologists.
Good luck
