Metastatic breast cancer to bone and then liver

My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013 and she did surgery and chemotherapy and she followed up with aramedex for 5 years and then in 2018 it spread to bone so she begin xgeva injection every month and xelode tablet but after one and half year it appears yesterday in liver (the CT also say : early developing in brain but not sure) so iam afraid and i dont know what the doctor will say and what the treatment option

Hi there, The more usual name for the chemotherapy your mum was given is Capecitabine. I have no experience of it, a link to more information is here:

This is a really scary time for you and your mother, waiting to find out what can be done next is so stressfull..Sometimes drugs stop working and doctors change to different ones, and they can also operate or use radiation on small areas to shrink or kill the cancer. When is your mother seeing her consultant again? Hopefully she'll have a better idea after that what they are planning to do next.

she already went to him and he shifted her to affintor + Aromasine ( but i dont know why aromasine as she was taking aromasine before but it didnt work)

i need to know this combination is good or chemo therapy is better!!!

he also asked for MRI to brain
