Hi,
I was diagnosed with MBC (triple positive) in October last year. Finished chemo in Feb and continued herceptin since then. In August there was a local recurrence. I chose mastectomy and have recovered from it. There was a change in doctor as my previous doctor left the hospital. This new doctor has advised that I would be put on chemo now. This time round Margins were clear, size was 1cm and no lymph nodes involved. Receptors this time are ER weakly postive, PR negative and Her2 positive.
Is there anyone with similar receptors and diagnosis who was put on tab lapatinib?
I thought mastectomy would be enough.
Thanks
Evening
There hasn't been many members posting recently here having Tyverb / Lapatinib.
You could carry out a search on the main community page (rather than just this group) to find any messages that mention it. It is more commonly known as Tyverb so that may be a good start.
I toddled off to BreastCancerCare and found this info page about Tyverb you could check out + and these messages on their forum you can have a read through without having to actually join.
Hope this is of some help for now, you may strike lucky in finding someone here who has had Lapatinib/Tyverb.
Good luck with it, G n' J
