Original secondary diagnosis with bone mets in Jan 16. Moved into liver just about a year ago. Unfortunately I've gone from treatment to treatment as nothing seems to be working on my liver. Have now gone onto 3 treatments of (EC) part of the (FEC) and then back to a hormone treatment to see if this is more effective.
I have multiple liver and peritoneal mets and am currently on palbociclib and letrozole. The treatment is really quite kind although affects the white blood cells quite a bit. I have had to have 2 dose reductions and 1 hospital stay for antibiotics. I am regularly monitored - every 28 days and have a very supportive team around me. Good luck with your treatment x
Thankyou for your message, it's so hard to deal with second time round mine has come back only 18 post treatments for Breast cancer I'm well angry some people get many years cancer free I'm just unlucky I'm seeing my Onocolgist next we for my plan, hope yours get sorted hun I hate this horrid disease xxx
Thankyou for you message you seem to be doing really well with your treatments I'm seeing my Onocolgist next week to get my plan have to have full body CT first and hope and pray there no spread as I've only just found out I thought I had a tummy bug never thought my cancer would be back after 18months and my tumours are already established my Breast Cancer was invasive duct cancer grade 3 stage 2 on first diagnosed and it's Her2 positive so my prognosis then was bad I had 4 tumours in breast just when you think you can pick yourself up bang it hits you again x
