Treatment stopped working

Hi Lindz 

I'm sorry to read that your treatment has been stopped because it's no longer working and it's natural to want to know how others have got on with second line treatment.

Although I'm not a member of this group, I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list again.

Hi Lindz, 

I’ve just read your post and roughly on the same journey. my chemo was Paxlitaxel and bone strengthening. My spread is from breast to various parts of spine / hips. With recent progression to Mediastinal lymph nodes (near to lungs) and urinary bladder (rare). I’ve been given a break from chemo for nearly 3 weeks which is worrying but all I know if that chemo in some form will continue. I will try and keep in touch to tell you what second line I will have/sucess.

I’ve heard of  people staying on the second line of treatment for 7 or 8 years.  Stay positive and never give up hope.
