Wondering when is the best time of day to take the above tablets morning or evening?
Hi Curlyp
I was advised to take in the morning by my oncologist with or after food . It also says on my prescription pack to take in the morning .
I have been on fb sites where other ladies take Ribociclib in the evening as they feel it helps with side effects. I would discuss with your oncologist or specialist nurse . There are lots of different opinions out there .
Hope this helps

Hi Curlyp,
I was having trouble with nausea after taking Kisqali in the morning. Now I am trying taking it after my evening meal. So far, so good after 2 weeks. However, my dose has also been reduced to 400 mg a day instead of 600 mg and I am a bit worried that it will not be as effective as it should be. Has anyone got experience with lesser dosage? Now that the nausea has gone I want to suggest gradually increasing the dose again. But not sure. Scared of side effects but more scared of the cancer growing again.
Ulla xx
Thank you for your reply Ulla, l also suffer with nausea. Last night l took my tablets again for the 2nd evening with evening meal and feel so much better. I had to have my daily dose reduced due to liver problems and then low immune system but thankfully l am feeling much better now, l don't think the lower dosage would be given if it would make too much of a change to our problems.
So glad you are feeling better. Nausea makes life a misery. I suppose we just have to persevere until we find the best way for our bodies to handle this treatment. My oncologist seems to think Kisqali is a kind of wonder drug. So let's hope she's right. Xx
I take Ribociclib (Kisqali) in the morning, usually at the same time every day to help keep it consistent. I find that taking it in the morning works better for me because it allows me to monitor any potential side effects throughout the day and adjust my activities if needed. Also, remember that it is important to use only high-quality Kisqali (ribociclib) from reliable pharmacies, then you can be sure of a positive result of treatment. Make sure to follow your doctor's advice on timing, as it may vary based on your treatment plan. Also, it’s important to take it with food and plenty of water. Just be mindful of how your body reacts and what works best for you!
Thank you Janeys, l have now been told by my Oncologist that taking them in the evening is ok for me as l have other tablets l need to take in the morning. When l started the Kisqali back in April the side affects were horrible but now the timing has been allowed the side effects are gradually subsiding, still suffering with hot flushes and not sleeping very well but that has been going on for quite some time. Things could be worse, onwards and upward.
