Hi, I have secondary breast cancer which has spread to my bones. Started with pains in my legs, which have settled now to more of a discomfort, but I do have pains in my chest and recently in the side of my head. I have started Ribociclib and fulvestrant starting denosumab on 17th. Radiotherapy next week. So far so good with treatment, just incredibly tired and uncomfortable.
Currently I’m taking ibuprofen and paracetamol. I’m just wondering what pain relief everybody else uses and what works for them.
Hi MissMolly
I am sorry the secondary breast cancer in your bones is becoming painful. I hope the planned radiotherapy starts to relieve this for you. I haven’t experienced any pain with my secondary cancer as yet and am somewhat worried about what to do if and when I do, as I am sensitive to opiate based drugs. It’s definitely worth talking to your oncologist about what else might help.
