Hi,
I’m new to the site, I was diagnosed with SBC in 2016 and have METS in C4/T2/T3/T12/L3 & more recently C2 where they want to do radiotherapy.
I’ve had radiotherapy on my chest & tummy in 2019 for most of the affected sites and on my right breast in 2009 for my primary cancer.
Just a little worried about the new area C2 as I think it will involve having to wear a mask during treatment & I’m claustrophobic, have to get drugged up on Diazepam just to have an MRI.
Can someone please advise What it will involve I.E will I be fitted with a mask? Any side effects, What to expect afterwards, What foods to eat after, If I’ll need to use any creams/ moisturiser to help any burns.
Basically anything at all that you think may help.
Thank you so much in advance.
