My mum was under investigation for womb cancer after previously having breast cancer 2017 (mastectomy, chemo, radio) and lung cancer 2019 (lobectomy).
We have been told it’s likely secondary breast cancer however are waiting results to 100% confirm and a CT to check for other mets, has anyone had any experience with this?
Hi and a warm welcome to the online community
I'm sorry to read that your mum is currently having tests to see if the cancer in her womb is a secondary to her breast cancer. Although I haven't been in the same position I do understand what a very worrying time this will be for the whole family.
I typed 'womb' into the search bar in this group and found these previous posts which mention secondary breast cancer that has appeared in the womb. You could have a look through these and respond to any of the more recent posters if you think they can help you further.
When you have a minute, it would be great if you could pop something about your mum's journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
Do come back and let us know the results of your mum's scans.
