Almost 5 years ago I was diagnosed and treated for Her2 breast cancer. After having an MRI for back pain I have been told I have an enlarged liver, I have CT with contrast on 8th December. Once again I’m terrified, I think the odds of it being anything other than secondary in my liver are pretty remote.
Hi invisible me
I'm sorry to read that you're worried that your enlarged liver might mean that you have secondary cancer there. It's natural to be scared that this is the case and, although I haven't had the same type of cancer as you, I have had scares that thankfully didn't mean the cancer was back..
I'd normally advise against googling symptoms but because I know nothing about enlarged livers I did on this occasion and have seen that it does say that an enlarged liver isn't always related to an underlying condition and can be linked to medication you might be taking. Obviously I have no idea what's causing yours but I hope you can take comfort from the fact that it might not be related to your previous cancer.
Do come back and let everyone know how you get on after your CT scan in a few weeks time.
I'll be thinking of you

Thank you for your response. I’m trying to be positive about it all. Will definitely come back and let you know how I got on.
