Hi all, my wife started on ibrance/ letrozole combo, then onto chemo (paclitaxel) now on exestamane and waiting for iribulin once covid settles down as it increases risk of infection.

My question is has anyone been prescribed ibrance twice, or is it a 1 time prescription only? She did well on that but markers did go up (might have been the thc tablets as she was desparate to try anything) , so perhaps it was that which affected the ibrance?

If she could try ibrance again she'd feel much happier as she doesn't think she gave it a chance last time, as she was newly diagnosed and we believed anything we read.x

    Hi

I just saw this post - I'm new to the forum but am on ibrance and Letrozole amongst other things.

I'd guess as the cancer markers increased perhaps the oncologist felt it did not work but I'd suggest they need to try more than one dose as I read somewhere (might be true) that sometimes the markers do increase as it takes a few cycles to have an impact.

If she hadn't already - she needs to chat to her oncologist to see.

In my case the cancer markers dropped significantly so long may that continue.

Hope she is coping as well as she can
