Hi its wino here can ANYONE please help me i am having my nuclear imaging scan on Tuesday. And part of my filling and tooth had just fell out, but i remember someone saying that before they were going to have the scan the nurse asked them if they had any problems with their mouth i am really upset as i have had to wait 5 weeks already for this scan and i dont want to wait any longer can someone please help answer this question

  • Hi , I dont know is the answer, but looking at info re nuclear imaging  I cant see anything specific about dental problems. I would hope that losing a tooth would not  stop a scan going ahead. Sometimes they ask questions about health in general including mouth / dental issues but only major issues are pertinent. You have two choices I guess , ring the Dept beforehand or go for the scan and see what they ask you.

Fingers crossed all goes ahead as anticipated.

    Hi Wino

Hope scan goes well tomorrow! I’m not sure it matters about your tooth for the scan as mine was neck to pelvis scan! Not sure though!
