Hi, I’ve just been diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer Recurrence, same place as my first. Gutted and want to get on with treatment but I don’t know what this is. Does anyone know what the latest treatment, standard of care or trials are out there? I’ll be getting a mastectomy but I want more as I have two little children and want to be here for them growing up. I can’t find any information really and my next appointment isn’t for two weeks! Many thanks x
Hu Run4it,
I dont have any info to offer, but felt that your post needed a response. So sorry you are going through this again so soon. It is a terrible blow and still raw I am sure. I wonder if the "ask an expert " section of the site might be a place to post to ask for the information you want. Sincerely hope you get answers soon. The need to start treatment and feel something is happening is overwhelming. Two weeks can seem an eternity when all you want is to get on and feel at least some degree of control.
All the best.
