Hello can anyone shed some light please.I was diagnosed with IDC a few months ago.The lump is large and i was informed from biopsy that there is Axillary positive involvement too. I had CT of Thorax and organs and i am awaiting bone scan. I have just read the report of CT scan on NHS app and it states that there is also subpectoral lymph node positive however, no other issues with organs etc. I saw my surgeon this morning and he confirmed the CT scan was clear which is good news, he did not mention the spread to subpectoral lymphs. Can anyone let me know if they had spread to this area? i am guessing this makes things a little different in terms of treatment?
Hi awesome1
I am sorry you have been diagnosed with breast cancer and that you may have lymph node involvement. Your medical team will find the best way forward based on everything they find out from biopsies and scans. I don’t know whether the sub pectoral lymph involvement will make any difference to your treatment, only that they will have considered it even if they don’t mention it.
