Possible ribociclib

So, I was diagnosed September 2024 with primary breast cancer tumour size 27mm ER3 PR0 HER2 negative. I was treated as triple negative breast cancer.  I had 20 weeks of chemo followed by lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy and then radiotherapy 5 sessions and 5 boosts. When I had surgery my tumour had melted away from chemo and they said I had had a pathological complete response with no evidence of disease. Due to the ER3 my oncologist put me on letrozole which I did not get on with and it was changed to exemestane which is ok.  I was told I would be signed off from 3 monthly check ups and moved to annual. However when I went for my check up last week they told me that because I am ER3 HER2 negative, I need to take ribociclib for 3 years and that will put me back on the cycle of blood tests and regular visits back to the chemo ward, they have sent my samples away for checking to see if I meet the criteria.  I’m confused as my research shows that if you have the CDK4/6 inhibitors then you can have this targeted therapy, so what are they checking? They’ve said I have them. Is this something they should have known about sooner after getting my results from surgery? I had my lumpectomy June 2025.  The side effects sound nearly as bad as chemo. I’m just going back to full time work after a 12 week phased returnafter 12 months sick leave and this has come out of the blue and sent me spiralling as I thought I had a bit of normal life coming back. Who takes ribociclib and how are you getting on?
