Struggling

Had 4 rounds of chemo and had mastectomy with implant re construction and full right lymph node removal.will have some radiotherapy soon and some form of chemo cause I  am her 2 positive and have the chek 2 gene also.i was meant to have 6 round s of chemo only had x4 due to mental exhaustion.im really struggling with anxiety.im barely sleeping i wake up at 2 every morning and my brain carnt seem to shut back down.i have chemo brain fog.or anxiety brain fog which makes it so i carnt drive.i am on anxiety medication and hope that helps.i just feel so low at the moment.and all i want to do is get better so i can be there for my daughter like i was before all this happened 

    • So sorry to hear you are struggling, you’ve been through a lot already. I hope the anxiety meds are helping. Be kind to yourself, rest when you need to. I appreciate you still have a way to go but you will get through this, take each day at a time.

  • It's so tough but it does get better.  Reach out and take advantage of all the help available. Talking and sharing really helped me to come to terms with what was happening.  Wishing you all the very best.
