Hi, does anyone have any experience of breast screening consensus panels? I’ve found out that my 2 mammogram screen readers put me down for recall but a ‘consensus’ panel knocked this back. They changed me to routine recall which led to a 3 year delay in my diagnosis. I’m struggling to find much out about this process. In my mind a consensus panel would be needed if there was discordance in the screen readers results…which there wasn’t. Thanks
Hi there, I haven’t come across this personally, but you might want to have a chat with the wonderful team here at Macmillan as they might know a bit more. The number is 0800 808 0000. Best wishes
