Hello everyone!
I’m 3 weeks post op after shoulder surgery and found a lump in my breast last week. same side as surgery.
Saw a Dr who referred me, had all the scans Friday and they’ve found a 17mm hard lump of concern so did a biopsy. I get the results next Friday. It hasn’t spread anywhere else
I had noticed some discharge in my bra a month ago but thought it was just a bit of a stain from not drying myself, in hindsight I should have got it looked into.
im obviously worried about the results but also understand im in very good hands should i need treatment.
any advice welcome
Hi Foxfire50
Welcome to the forum I'm Daisy53 one of the Community Champions on this forum. I'm sorry to hear that you might have breast cancer. Most lumps turn out to be benign but if it's cancer as you said you are in very good hands and they will do everything in their power to make sure that you come out of the other side of this. Try to keep yourself busy while you wait for your results. It would be a good idea to bring someone with you to your appointment so that if you don't remember everything that they told you you'll have someone who be able to tell you what was said.
Wishing you the best of luck with your appointment on Friday and do let us know how you got on.
Best wishes
