Hi all, I'm new on here. Diagnosed 11 Nov and am booked into surgery 27th January for a single mastectomy. I feel I haven't been given much information about what to expect.
My question is: what is your experience with recovery post surgery. I don't get sick pay, so am hoping to get back to work as soon as possible. I'm using my holidays for the first 2 week's. Would it be unreasonable to expect myself to work from home, maybe on a part time basis after that. I know we are all different and recovery times will differ, but your experience would help me get an understanding. Thank you.
I had mine Tuesday my plan is very similar to yours, but have to be honest I’m not sure I’m ready to do any work yet , but I’m still in hospital at the moment,today I am more like me
