I'm sure there must be people on here who have been prescribed vitamin D, along with Letrozole. When I started taking Let. six months ago, I wasn't prescribed vit. D but I feel pretty sure I should be. If you take this combination, were you prescribed it, or did you decide to take it yourself, and how much do you take? At the moment, my Let. dose is 2.5mg. I'm not sure if I should contact my bc nurse or my GP for this, but I just want to know that it's a safe combination. Thanks.
I take Adcal D3. Your GP can prescribe along with your letrozole. If you pay for prescriptions look at getting a ppe prescription prepayment certificate or get GP to give you a 6 month supply. I am old enough that I get free prescriptions. But worth taking x
I had bloods tested twice, after first one was told 'liver bloods were high', oncologist thought it may be due to letrozole. Had more blood tests done 3 months later but heard nothing so assume all ok. It's best to ask when you have to have bloods tested x
