Hi everyone
I’ve been on Examestane for around 14 weeks. I have a few problems that I am trying to manage but I’ve started to get a full on dull ache in my coccyx region an hour or so after taking the tablet. This has developed today and the area feels v bruised. I’m unable to sit or lie comfortably. Has anyone else had this on any AI. I have quite bad OA in one hip and that has got much worse over the last 6 weeks. Could it be the Exemestane?

While I haven't got the experience you are looking for I noticed that you haven't had any answers yet so I thought I'd reply to you to move you to the top of the discussion. Hopefully someone will be along shortly with an answer for you. If you don't get an answer to your question soon maybe contact your breast care nurse and they should be able to help.

I'd just moved onto exemestane from anastrozole had pain since day one on hormone treatment
