I am just leaving the surgical part of my treatment. Had my surgery 7 weeks ago and just had results which were all good - therefore no further surgery required. Next step - appt with Oncology for planning of radiotherapy. Hormone treatment with Tamoxifen prescribed.
During my trawl through more info on these treatments I have come across Dr Liz O’Riordan a breast surgeon who has breast cancer. Her instagram videos are really helpful and I also discovered her Podcast - So Now I’ve Got Breast Cancer …this weeks was featuring Everything you need to know about Radiotherapy with the RadChat team and I can highly recommend a listen for those of you in a similar position as me.
