I have just come out the other end of chemotherapy and while my focus is now on my next stage of treatment, I also want to start to gain some normality and confidence in my life, which includes my appearance.  I am trying to be patient with hair regrowth, but I really miss my eyelashes!

I cannot get on with false ones - I have been looking into buying RevitLash but note its expense.  Has any tried this post chemo to help with eyelash regrowth.  Also any tips on feeling confident with your appearance after chemo would be welcomed!

  • I use UK Lash, it works and lasts quite a long time. Anything that helps confidence is worth it. Give it a try. Xx

  • I used uklash found it really good on eyelashes and hair.

  • I used RivitLash and then LashUK starting about 18 months after I finished chemo. I got no growth or thickening. I have now a year on given up. Instead, I get my lashes dyed every 4 weeks so at least I make the most of what I have. I have a good head of hair and hairy legs, just very stubby eyelashes.  It might be my age, I am mid 70s. I do know quite a few younger people who use these and they have had amazing results. Hope it works for you x

  • I'm 67yrs my hair on my head is very fine and thinning.  I am using regaine and Champo. I take vits for hair as well. I stopped collagen because of concerns it might help spread Ca if it returns. We are all different, I am considering getting a topper, it's like a wig but just not the full wig. I love dancing and intend to keep going until I need a Zimmer frame I've hopefully as long as I'm here.xxx

  • You look amazing. I wish I could still dance but an ankle injury and osteoarthritis have stopped this. However I have just started aqua aerobics and it is fantastic being able to jump up and down, and dance in the water. Hopefully, I will lose some of the weight and become more mobile. Thoroughly recommend it x
