7 weeks and 2 days ago I was diagnosed with stage 1 invasive breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy and sentinel node sample removal.
Yesterday I saw the consultant and was given the all clear even though it had started to spread, but they got it all.
Still need radiotherapy and then tablets for 5 years.
Never ever give up. Mine was easy compared to many others but thank god for mammograms and the NHS.
Keep fighting ladies and gents. We will win this ️

Mine was picked up the same way. I couldn't feel a thing. Neither could my surgeon. I had my lumpectomy and SNB 8 days ago. I get my results on 29 Dec and I am dreading it. My surgeon was very reassuring beforehand though, said it was very tiny and unlikely I'd need chemo but to be honest I don't see how he could say those things until it comes back from pathology. I really hope I'm as lucky as you are. Bless you xxx
I couldn't feel anything nor could the surgeon and like you I was dreading the results. I think you have to trust what they say even though I was terrified. They see this so often. I need radiotherapy and tablets but that's a small price to pay. Wishing you all the best in the world xxx
