I have been taking tamoxifen now for about 3 months these appear to be not treating me well at all on the joint pain side of things I get out of bed like an 80 year old woman on a morning with bad knee and back pain but my main concern is my hands my thumbs feel like they are broken at times, I struggle to bend my fingers and I'm now to the point of struggling to pick things up has anyone else experienced this?! I have an oncology review call next week as they are already aware this started when I began the medication I'm wondering is there any alternatives anyone has tried instead of tamoxifen as I'm 44 years old my breast cancer was ER+ and premenopausal as far as I know but haven't had a period since may when chemo stopped them or is all the other meds for post menopausal? Any advice would be much appreciated!
