Hi all
what is the difference between Medical and Clinical Oncologist please?
Hi Bizkit
While I don't have an answer for you I noticed that you haven't had any answers yet so I thought I reply to you to move you to the top if the discussion. You could also put the question into the Ask an Expert section of the website. You need to wait a few days for them to get back to you. Here's the link:Ask an Expert.
Best wishes

Hi,
As far as I understand it,Medical Oncologist is concerned with treating cancer using medication, I.e.systemic therapy, e.g. chemo, hormonal therapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, but not radiation. Clinical Oncologist uses both, I.e. systemic therapy and radiotherapy.
The doctor looking after my chemotherapy treatment was Medical Oncologist, but the one responsible for my radiotherapy had the title of Clinical Oncologist.
