Thanks in advance
Hi Hersheybarkid, when I had radiotherapy I would go to my appointment without deodrant/body sprays etc on and then I would apply that and my moisturiser (Aveeno) when I got dressed after. That way I knew my underarms, breast and chest area to be treated would be free of any chemicals. I showered each morning to ensure all deodorant, perfume etc was off ready for the next treatment.
I have since tried some deodorants that are aluminium free and others that are supposed to be better but I find on me they don’t work as well as my regular deodrant so I am back using my regular deodrant that I have used for years.
Wishing you all the best for your radiotherapy.
