I've been taking Letrozale for nearly 12 months and wondered if any one has experienced numbness in their hands which is mainly worse first thing in the morning? I do also have the same feeling in my toes but not as often and the hands Any advise gratefully received!
Hi there. I’ve been taking letrozole for around four months now and although i haven’t experienced numbness to my fingers, I have experienced finger swelling and aching in the joints of my hands especially first thing in the morning. My Macmillan nurse confirmed this to be a common side effect. It’s not pleasant but I’m hoping that if it gets too bad I could maybe discuss with oncologist.
In any case they have advised me to come off it whilst I have chemo then will go back on afterwards.
Hi hope you’re doing okay. I have been on letrozole ( however it’s spelt), for 2 years. I have numbness in my left hand, just along the little finger, which tingles when touched. Never thought about it being the meds as on thyroxine which totally messes up the system. The worst part is the beard growth along jaw and under chin. Don’t know if this is any help.
best wishes Sharon
