I received my second dose of EC yesterday, and picked up a prescription for various things which had been ordered by my oncologist. Amongst the items was something I was not expecting, and I do not know what it is for. The Internet isn’t throwing much light on it either. It is a tube of dissolvable tablets to do with replacing potassium. It is called Sando K. I will ring the chemo suite today to ask them if they can explain. Has anybody experience of this please and can help me to understand?
Hi, I had to take these once, shortly after I gave birth to my son. In my case, a blood test showed low levels of potassium.I don’t know why this was. I didn’t like the taste of it, so I put some orange squash in it. It didn’t take long for my levels to rise, and that was it really. Xx
