  1. Hi, anyone else had bad joint pain with this tablet
  • AJM, so sorry you had and are having it so bad. I know Abemaciclib is a preventative but quality of life is huge too. Especially after what we've all been through.

    Keep strong xx

  • Hi BT1,

How long did you take the 150mg for? I only started it yesterday and am dreading taking it today, although I have. Just wondered how long you took them for. I'd like to try it in the hope I adjust to it.

    Take care xx

  • Hi mar42,. I was started on 100mg and been stopped 3 times now due to low white cell count , learnt to know what to eat and what not to eat to stop diarrhea.  Tired in morning start to feel better but later. Bad joint pain but coping . Hope you can cope better soon too

  • Hi Mar42 I tried for 4 months but I just become unwell . I started on 100 mg then had a break then went on to 50mg. But still they made me unwell. To be honest I felt better once I stopped taking them after a couple of days so no long lasting side effects. Most people are able to tolerate this medication a lady on here has been on it for 14 months with no side effects. I was just unlucky . Wishing you all the very best . Let us know how you get on . Love Belinda
