HI
i am due to take my dressings off shortly and I’m a bit wary of my bra rubbing on my wound before it is fully healed. A lady on another forum (Asda’s Q&A re the bra) recommended using micropore tape to cover the wound until it’s fully healed. I’ve done a bit of research and it sounds like a good idea. Has anyone heard of this before or had any personal experience? Breast care nurses aren’t available to speak to until Tuesday due to the bank holiday.
Thanks
Thanks for that. Sounds like gauze is the way to go x
Hello, I would not use the tape as it could stick or irritate. Gauze should work fine. Sounds like you are doing well

Thanks again Barbara l. I have so many questions. It really is helpful to come on here and get answers from people who are going through or have been through this awful thing. I am very grateful x
Hi Sowa, I love to read all the questions and it is nice to have all the wonderful people who are willing to share and ask for help too. Get our strength from each other,

I’m still coming to terms with my diagnosis and being able to reach out is helping me. Thank you x
Yes it is hard to grasp the whole thing and having said I had breast cancer seems strange. I know I have had only one mammogram since everything I like to use the verb had rather than have.
