Hello Sorry to know that your mum has had this news. I had a similar experience when half way through my ultrasound showed no change, this was extremely upsetting, but I was convinced that I could feel a difference abd my oncologist was also very positive about how the treatment was progressing. Long story short, we continued and I had MRI before my surgery abd there was no evidence of cancer, this was also confirmed in the pathology post my mastectomy and lymph removal.
I think to see any reduction is a positive, and try to keep your mum aspositive as possible, I believe that this really helps.
