  • Hello Wave Sorry to know that your mum has had this news. I had a similar experience when half way through my ultrasound showed no change, this was extremely upsetting, but I was convinced that I could feel a difference abd my oncologist was also very positive about how the treatment was progressing. Long story short, we continued and I had MRI before my surgery abd there was no evidence of cancer, this was also confirmed in the pathology post my mastectomy and lymph removal.
I think to see any reduction is a positive, and try to keep your mum aspositive as possible, I believe that this really helps.
Sending you both hugs and Purple heart

    • Hey… so good with your results overall… wow :) nice to hear that. Yes your right thinking and being as positive as she/we can, helps. I think we’re getting our head around at least it is a reduction. It hasn’t grown. I think as my mum is sleeping soooo much with the chemo, it’s hard to see past this point. Yet we have to remember it’s the chemo that’s making her feel bad.
thanks so much for coming back to me xx
