Well today was my last chemo cycle , it was touch and go as to whether it would go ahead because I had covid and was worried it might off affected my white blood cells , so until I got to my appointmnt I still had no idea, but thankgod it went ahead , its still hasn't sunk in that was my last one , also my picc line came out whoop whoop , just need to recover from this cycle and then have to face 4weeks of radiotherapy, but hopefully that will be a bit easier than the chemo , I wish everyone on here all the very best with all your treatments we are so strong we will get there xxx
That is fabulous and I never had chemo but had radiation and no it is not too bad at all.

Well done you good news to get it behind you. I had surgery in Nov 21 started chemo in Dec 21 which finished in April 22.Then radiotherapy in May/June. Feels good to complete treatment but left me feeling a bit lost after 9 months of thinking about nothing else other than getting through it.
Hope you soon complete your journey and stay healthy. Lots of love to all those fighting on x
Totally agree with you about being lost because all I have done is count down the weeks to each chemo cycle , I would have the district nurse come in every wed to flush and redress my picc line so that was a week ticked of then every 3 weeks chemo , so not having these days is going to be really strange, its almost what am I going to do now , until I hear when my radiotherapy will start xx
