Best cream or gel for scar

• Due to having radiotherapy I was advised to use 100 percent aloe vera or E45.

I have found that E45 leaves a slight greasy film on the skin even though it is rubbed in very well. Aloe Vera appears to rub in completely.

I'm a great fan of bio oil and have used it on previous ( non BC) surgery scars with good effect. It's not cheap but you don't need much so it goes a long way 

Hi VWgirl, I’m using bio oil too and I think it’s making a huge difference. I’ll need to change to cream soon due to upcoming radiotherapy on the reconstruction, but I’ll still stick with the bio oil on my tummy and belly button scars. Hope that helps - Mickey x

Consultant recommended Bio oil and it’s fab 

I was also told this last week so have been looking around.  I felt the need to spend more money on it than I probably need to (over compensating?) and I have purchased this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Science-Skin-5060429300001-Solution-Scars/dp/B07DNHP516?th=1.  It is probably over priced snake oil but its on its way.  I post here when I've tried it.

Bio oil for me! I really notice the difference it is making and so easy to massage in. Really reccomend x

I forgot to ask, at what stage can you start using Bio Oil please?
