Hi, a member of my household has lateral tested positive. I've had my lumpectomy in October and have just had my second cycle of chemotherapy on Friday.
I've immediately put myself in isolation in the bedroom. What else can I do. I'm at a loss. Any advice greatly appreciated
You’ve done all you can. I’m sorry you’ve had to confine yourself, not fair with everything else you’re going through. Hopefully you won’t get it too. I take it the affected family member us also isolating in their room and using a different toilet to you? Hope you’re feeling ok x
Hi, oh how awful for you. I think the best thing is to minimise contact as far as you possibly can, wear a mask if you are moving around the house and take the hand hygiene really seriously. It would be best if the infected person isn't cooking for you, but not sure how practical this is. Daily testing will also give you reassurance, and let your household member know when they are no longer infected. Good luck x
