Hello, I hope everyone is doing OK. I am having surgery on Thursday 13th January and must use Hibiscrub in the shower for 5 days. Can I ask anyone who has used this before, can I use moisturiser after showering with Hibiscrub - I don't want to affect its protection, but i do suffer from dry skin and my usual routine is to moisturise my arms, chest and legs daily.
Sorry if this seems like a minor issue in the grand scheme if things, I am petrified about surgery but I guess I am focusing on things within my control.
Many thanks, Kelly xx
Hi,
I had a mastectomy and wasn't asked to do this, new to me. Hopefully others will answer and give their thoughts.
Hi there
I have never heard of this before. However, I worked in NHS for many years and hibiscrub was at one time the standard antibacterial for scrubbing-up before performing procedures.
I can't see that moisturising would cause problems except on the last day. However, best phone and ask them tomorrow.
Wishing you all the best
