Picc line- what to expect

I was just told that's what I was having aswel. They havent really gone into much detail about it yet I've just got my appointment for it doing tues next week.

I completely agree with Thirds comments, a little uncomfortable when being inserted but absolutely worth any inconvenience. Good luck and I am sure you will be fine x

I have done the same and am now terrified of it. Then someone mentioned picc friendly clothes. Do you find any difference with your tops? Does it get in the way? 

I wasn’t comfortable in clothes that had tight fitting arms but otherwise I was fine in everything else, I didn’t need to buy new clothing x

That’s reassuring thank you. Waiting to get PICC line inserted before next chemo and been quite worried.
