Hi everyone
I got pain when I was half way through chemo. Sometimes it’s absolute agony I’m taking Pregabalin but it doesn’t stop the pain. I’ve had a PET Scan (showed nothing). I’m really worried about getting to radiotherapy every day as I can barely walk. It’s excruciating. I’m having another MRI and radiotherapy on the same day. If nothing shows I will be referred to a spinal unit. It makes no sense to any of “my team”. It’s like trapped nerves around my butt. The more I move the worse it gets. Not sure how I’m going to cope. I hope everyone is doing well. And you Anna12345. Hope I get some sleep. Jan xxx
Oh Jan, that sounds incredibly painful. I hope you get something for the pain that helps in the meantime and that they figure out what's causing it. Stay strong x

Thank you for replying. It’s bad enough having the surgery, chemo and now this! I can’t concentrate on anything except how I manage the day and how much I can move about. Best wishes to you, thanks again Jan xxx
Hi Jgau, being a bit personal here but have you ever suffered with haemorrhoids? I suffered for years but about 8 years ago the pain got so bad that I was having severe pain in my butt and at the bottom of my back and down my legs and i couldn’t walk down the garden let alone anywhere else. Just a thought as something like that wouldn’t show up on any scan.
Anyway just a thought.
xx
Hi sometimes you don’t get the obvious symptoms I was just wondering whether it could be as an after effect from chemotherapy to be honest, as chemo can give you constipation or diarrhoea which can both cause problems.
At least they are going to refer you and maybe you’ll find out what it is.
xx
I had what I thought was sciatica in my left hip - had it previous over years in right hip. Pain was horrendous and then I developed drop foot in my left foot. I saw a physio privately and she could see a muscle spasm in top of my back between blades . Had no pain there , She repositioned my pelvis, a massage on spasm and exercises told me to come back in 2 weeks. After a week though dropped foot resolved and pain in hip & leg my hip improved x
