Hello
I've just been diagnosed with invasive ductal cancer grade 3 triple negative I'm so scared is anyone going through the same?
Yes they gave me some before treatment and 1 since I've been in just seems to have taken it out of me. Hopefully tomorrow is better x
You make me laugh . Well done you though CT and MRI not a chance wousl I do that . What’s the tattoo for ? Xxx
Oh darling so sorry you feel sick so soon . Do you have more anti sickness you can take . I was wet tired the first day . Day 2 and 3 were great but think it was the steroids then I felt dreadful form day 4 onwards today is day 10 and am just beginning to come out of it now thankfully . Drink loads and loads of water if you can , take all your anti sickness and if still bad in the morning phone them as the tablets should work . Xxx
We are here , message any time . Do you have injections to do from tomorrow onwards ? You may have some steroids to they will help xx
Hi Shaz good to here you have me been out . I am just beginning to feel semi normal and I too went out wirh my beautiful boxer dog . I am less breathless so hugely relieved long may it continue and will talk to them before next cycle as can’t do the last 6 days again something has to change xxx
Take care Key thinking about you, I'm home now my grandchildren were so good . I have taken a pair of scissors to my hair today it's gone now and I'm glad it was starting to hurt so that's it then . Hope you managing to sleep tonight . Harleybear is right give them a ring if you still feel sick in the morning we got enough to put up with without feeling sick as well.
Jayne X
Hi key pls rest, plenty of fluids does help and keep on top of all meds given. If no improvement pls phone for advice and they will help you. Day 6, yesterday I was most fatigued but I think that was my body adjusting to no steroids as well so my body was doing more Today I am back to my usual self and feeling fine. I am having my picc line flushed tomorrow. Harleybear yes please do let them know how you have been they may be able to tweak your treatment or medication to enable next cycle is more manageable for you. Take care everyone xxxx
Ah. When/if you have radiotherapy you have to let them do a very tiny weeny tattoo (usually 3 pinprick type dots) on your body to line you up to get in the correct and the same position each time. They are hardly noticeable - one in middle of breast area and one on each side of the body. That's where mine are anyway. Not sure of all the correct detail but I think there are laser lines which match up with the tattoos so the machine zaps the same place each time they want to target with the beam of radiation. No big deal, and they are so tiny but necessary.
Hi Jayne , are you still losing lots of hair . How does it hurt ? Maybe I should get the rest of mine off now xxx
