Hello
I've just been diagnosed with invasive ductal cancer grade 3 triple negative I'm so scared is anyone going through the same?
Hi Mel , love the fact that mine inflates. I think in reality I may not use it everyday . Have you got a mastectomy bra for yours ? I may be better when I have got mine . I miss my underwired bras xx
Hey Dolly , no the first appointment is definitely for planning your treatment , if you are having chemo you may also like to ask about if you will have a PICC line or port put in to use when you go for the treatment. Xx
Hey Harleybear
I will do .even when I get blood tests they have trouble finding a vein so it might be a good idea for me
Sorry , I know I must be driving you all bonkers with my panicking ♀️
love
L xx
Not at all , that’s what this site is for . We have all been where you are and have loads of questions of others that were at the beginning. I have had my PICC line in since October . I have a family who came with me learn how to do the flushing and dressing changes so that I didn’t have to go to the hospital every week . This has been really beneficial. You may like to consider this when it gets to that’s stage xx
Yes I do have mastectomy bra and it keeps prothesis in place better x
Thanks Mel . I will get mine ordered . Maybe I should get 2 different sizes in case I decide to inflate it.
Thanks for asking after me, Harley I had my last programmed chemo session on Friday which is quite a relief! But unfortunately since then, as well as dealing with chemo come down, I´ve also caught my little boy´s cold so have felt rotten the past couple of days.
And as luck, haha, would have it, I´m back at the hospital tomorrow morning to have mammogram and ultrasound prior to meeting the surgeon for the 2nd time to go through said scans prior to my op which has been scheduled (tbc) for the end of the month.
Tbh, I´d rather curl up in bed all day and sleep off the cold but needs must
Sending love to everyone here XXX
Oh no so sorry you are feeling unwell . But big congratulations for getting to the end of chemo . Can you not change the appointment for. A few days to give yourself time to recover . Do you know what the planned op will be ? Xxx
