Pathology delays

Hi, tomorrow I should have got more results from a second core biopsy , but just been contacted to say the results are delayed until 7th October another week seems like a lifetime to be on edge and Purple heartxious. They have said it’s about staffing problems. Anyone else enduring similar agonies? Purple heart

  • Hi  sorry you are having to wait so long for your results.  The wait is absolute agony. Hopefully no one else is having to wait so long but if they are by replying to you it bumps you back up to the top of the list where they might see it this time and get back to you.

    I found the waiting to be the hardest part of my whole cancer journey but the days will go by and soon you will have your results.  All you can do is try and keep busy and distracted.
