Nerve pain after surgery?

Hi there 

I’m 3 weeks post op after mastectomy & implant reconstruction 

the pain is horrendous & I have had 4 babies with no pain relief !! 
I asked my GP for Tramadol & testing g seems to work as the weight of standing upright makes it worse . It seems to be Eason every day. The worst spot is just under the new breast on the stitch line. My surgeon said be patient … easier said than done . 

I was given Oramorph after the op. Told by a friend who used to be a G.P. to make sure I took painkillers regularly enough to keep the pain down. Suggest you speak to G.P. or your BCN if pain not being controlled ans ask for something stronger. It is important that you are not in pain, as you won't be able to rest and recover properly.
