Hi just a quick question going for 3rd Ec tomorrow. Havent had a period for past 2 months and iv just came on today. I remember my bcn telling me that i prob wouldnt have a period till after chemo.
So now im panicking im her2+ er/pr neg so not on any hormone meds.
Does anyone know if this is common??

Hi N_M,

Please don’t worry. I had sporadic periods through my EC chemo then they stopped. I also suffer from endometriosis and so this was a silver lining I suppose. I didn’t start my hormone therapy until I went on to radiotherapy as I was told by my oncology team that chemo usually comes first then other treatments. Please check with your BC nurse/oncology team but I think it is normal for chemo to mess up your cycle.
