Hi there
I just wondered if anyone has had this. I am three months post surgery and I have developed a ruptured blood vessel which is quite livid over the whole breast site.
Thanks xxxx
Hi Casput
I am so sorry to hear about this development. Not what you would want at all. Did it happen spontaneously or when you were using the arm on that side? I have not had similar but just wanted to send my wishes for a good recovery.
Have you shown it to your nurse or your surgeon yet?
Best wishes Wallydug
Hi and thanks
Yes it grew over last weekend. I telephoned my BCC nurses and was told to get an immediate appointment with my GP which I did and they were good. But I am still not knowing why it has happened and with definitely without any physical trauma. My husband is very concerned and as am I. I have shortness of breath too.
Thanks for your concern xxx
Hello again
I would be phoning the BCC nurses again and explaining own and husbands concerns and telling them about breathlessness. They might not suggest anything but you are better safe than sorry. They have the experience of knowing what is worrisome and what is not. We are just feeling our way along this path and trying to do the best we can.
All the best to you. I hope that it is nothing to worry about and that you can get some reassurance.
