Hi all,
Firstly I hope everyone is doing as well as you can be! For me positivity is key but sometimes it’s tough!
I had chemo number 6 yesterday and am so glad it’s now done. Next steps for me are CT scan, get the results and see the surgeon, have the operation and then possibly two weeks of radiotherapy. The doctor tried to tell me yesterday that the chemo is the worst bit and I am nearly there!
However when I had my initial scans very small ‘spots’ were seen on my liver and my lung. At the time I was told it was probably old infections but they would look again at the scans done after chemo. To be honest I had put it to the back of my mind but now it is all I can think about!
I was just wondering if anyone had anything similar to this? I know there is nothing I can do about it and if it was the start of another tumour hopefully the chemo will have destroyed it but I am so scared!
Thank you for reading and stay safe and well.
Thank you so much for your reply. I am so pleased that your results showed complete recovery- even hearing that gives me a boost that I could be worrying for no reason. I’m trying to stay positive! Thank you again. Xxx
